Create a dedicated rehoming profile, connect with serious local adopters, and rehome your cat with confidence — all in one place.
This program is designed to give your cat real visibility while providing a more structured, safety-focused rehoming process. Each inquiry is supported by a detailed questionnaire to help you screen applicants, while you remain fully in control of your cat’s care, communication, and final placement decision.
A $25 rehoming support donation is required to participate.

1. Create Your Cat’s Profile
Submit your cat’s information through the form to create a dedicated rehoming page designed for visibility and clarity — not lost in a feed.
2. Receive & Review Applications
Interested adopters complete a detailed questionnaire, and each submission is sent directly to you — giving you the information needed to screen and identify the best potential fit.
3. Choose the Right Home
You communicate directly with applicants, ask follow-up questions, and make the final placement decision based on what’s best for your cat.
Unlike unregulated listings, this process is designed to help you avoid rushed decisions and connect with adopters who are serious, prepared, and actively searching both in Snohomish County and the surrounding areas.

You submit one form for your cat or kitten, and we create a dedicated rehoming profile on the Whisker Foundation website — designed for visibility, search, and engagement.
Instead of receiving random messages, all interested adopters must complete a detailed Cat Rehoming Questionnaire before contacting you.
Each completed questionnaire is sent directly to you, providing the information needed to review, screen, and decide how to proceed. You communicate with applicants and make the final placement decision based on what’s best for your cat.
Whisker Foundation provides a platform designed to increase visibility and support safer, more structured rehoming.
We create your cat’s profile and provide a detailed questionnaire to help generate more informed rehoming inquiries. Our goal is to help you connect with serious, prepared adopters.
However, we act solely as a facilitator. We do not participate in rehoming decisions, verify applicant information, or manage communication between you and potential adopters.
Your cat will be featured on the Whisker Foundation website with a dedicated rehoming profile, providing adopters with a clear and engaging place to learn more.
Listings are visible to people actively searching for adoptable cats in Snohomish County and surrounding areas. In some cases, listings may also be shared on social media to help increase visibility.
To maintain quality and transparency, we require the following details for each cat:
Providing complete and accurate information helps improve rehoming success and builds trust with potential adopters.
Yes. Cats must be spayed or neutered prior to placement, and any known medical or behavioral conditions must be disclosed.
This helps ensure adopters can make informed decisions and supports responsible, transparent rehoming.
No. Whisker Foundation does not screen, approve, or communicate with adopters.
All applications are sent directly to you, and you are fully responsible for reviewing applicants, verifying information, and deciding whether to move forward.
Yes. A $25 rehoming support donation is required for each cat or kitten listed.
This helps cover the cost of creating and maintaining a dedicated rehoming profile, supporting the platform, and providing tools like the structured adoption questionnaire.
Once your cat has been successfully placed, simply notify Whisker Foundation so the listing can be updated or removed.
All final arrangements — including communication, agreements, medical records, and transfer of care — are handled directly between you and the adopter.
