Partner with Whisker Foundation to expand your reach and connect your adoptable cats with a growing audience of local adopters across Snohomish County and surrounding areas. Each cat is featured on a dedicated profile page designed to increase visibility, improve engagement, and drive more qualified adoption inquiries through a structured application process.
This approach helps reduce time spent on unqualified leads while giving your cats a stronger, more consistent presence beyond social media.

1. Create a High-Visibility Adoption Profile
Submit your cat’s information through our form to create a dedicated adoption page that is easy to find. Unlike social media posts that disappear quickly, your listing stays visible and searchable—helping the right adopters find your cats when they’re actively looking.
2. Receive Thoughtful, Pre-Screened Applications
Every inquiry is guided through a structured adoption questionnaire and sent directly to your rescue. This means fewer random messages and more meaningful applications from people who are serious about adopting.
3. Stay Fully in Control of the Process
You manage all communication, approvals, and final placement decisions. Whisker Foundation simply helps increase exposure and connect you with qualified, local adopters—so you can focus on placing your cats in the right homes.
Unlike social posts or unstructured listings, this process is designed to help rescues connect with serious, prepared adopters—not just quick inquiries. By reaching people actively searching in Snohomish County and surrounding areas, you can focus on quality placements rather than sorting through the noise.

Review the FAQs below to better understand how the rehoming process works and what’s required.
We’ve designed this to be simple for rescues — and far more effective than traditional listing platforms.
You submit one form per cat or kitten. From there, we create a dedicated, high-visibility adoption profile on our website — not just a listing, but a standalone page designed to get found and drive real interest.
Instead of receiving scattered messages or low-quality inquiries, all interested adopters are directed to complete our Cat Adoption Questionnaire before moving forward. This ensures you’re only hearing from people who are serious and willing to take the next step.
Every completed questionnaire is sent directly to your rescue, so you can review, screen, and decide how to proceed — just like you normally would.
You stay fully in control of your adoption process. We focus on what most rescues struggle with:
👉 Getting your cats seen
👉 Attracting the right adopters
👉 Reducing time spent on unqualified inquiries
The goal is simple — more visibility, better inquiries, and faster, more successful placements.
Whisker Foundation’s goal is to help more cats find safe, appropriate, and lasting homes. We provide a platform that increases visibility, along with structured profiles and a detailed adoption questionnaire designed to encourage thoughtful, informed placements.
We care deeply about the well-being of every cat listed through our network and aim to support rescue organizations by connecting them with adopters who are genuinely interested and better prepared for adoption.
However, Whisker Foundation acts solely as a facilitator in this process. We do not participate in adoption decisions, independently verify applicant information, or oversee placements.
Final responsibility for reviewing applicants, verifying information, and making adoption decisions remains with the rescue organization. Whisker Foundation is not responsible for adoption outcomes or post-adoption circumstances.
Your cats will be featured on the Whisker Foundation website, reaching a growing audience of local adopters in Snohomish County and surrounding areas who are actively searching for adoptable pets.
Each cat is featured on our Adopt page and has its own unique profile (like a personalized adoption page), giving adopters a clear, engaging place to learn about that specific cat.
In some cases, listings may also be shared on our social media channels to help increase visibility. Social media promotion is not guaranteed, but may be used at our discretion to support adoption efforts.
To maintain quality and transparency, we require the following details for each cat:
Providing complete and accurate information helps improve adoption success and builds trust with potential adopters.
Yes. All cats must be spayed or neutered prior to placement. You must also disclose any known medical or behavioral conditions so adopters can make informed decisions.
While we require accurate and honest information, Whisker Foundation does not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy of details provided and is not responsible for any incomplete or inaccurate information submitted as part of a listing.
All cat adoption inquiries are submitted through the Whisker Foundation’s structured cat adoption questionnaire, which helps pre-screen applicants and reduce time spent on unqualified inquiries.
We can tailor the questionnaire to align with your rescue’s specific requirements, ensuring you receive the information you need to make informed placement decisions.
Completed applications are sent directly to you so you can review, follow up, and continue your normal approval process.
We also provide insight into listing performance, including how many people have viewed your cat’s profile and how many applications have been submitted—giving you a clearer picture of engagement and interest.
Whisker Foundation provides a structured adoption questionnaire to collect information from prospective adopters. Completed questionnaires are received by the Whisker Foundation and then forwarded to the respective rescue organization for review.
Whisker Foundation does not contact, screen, or communicate with prospective adopters and does not participate in the vetting process.
We do not independently verify, confirm, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information provided.
Rescue organizations are solely responsible for reviewing all applications, communicating with applicants, verifying applicant information (including but not limited to housing, references, and suitability), and conducting their own due diligence to make placement decisions.
By participating in this program, rescue organizations acknowledge that Whisker Foundation acts solely as a facilitator and assumes no liability for applicant representations, adoption decisions, or any outcomes resulting from the placement of a cat.
At this time, listings for rescue organizations are complimentary as we continue to build a network of trusted rescue partners and expand our reach.
While there is no cost to participate, we always appreciate donations to support our work and help us continue growing the platform to benefit more cats and rescues.
As the platform grows, we may introduce optional paid features or listing structures in the future. Any changes will always be communicated in advance.
Once a cat has been successfully adopted, we ask that the rescue organization notify Whisker Foundation so the listing can be updated or removed in a timely manner.
All final adoption details—including agreements, fees, medical records, and transition of care—are handled directly between the rescue organization and the adopter.
Whisker Foundation is not involved in post-adoption communication or follow-up and does not oversee or manage the transition after placement.
We strongly encourage rescue organizations to continue their own adoption protocols, including any post-adoption check-ins or support, to help ensure a successful and lasting placement.
