Who We Are
Whisker Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Everett, Washington, dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and rehoming cats throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our mission is simple: to give every cat a second chance at life, love, and security.
What began as one family’s compassion has grown into a network of volunteers, foster homes, and community advocates working together to make the world kinder for cats.
Our Founders
Debbie — Co-Founder & President
Debbie founded Whisker Foundation out of her lifelong love for animals and deep commitment to the feline community. With years of experience in rescue, fostering, and nonprofit leadership, she oversees the foundation’s mission and partnerships. Her hands-on approach ensures every cat receives compassionate care — from rescue to rehabilitation and beyond.
Stephen — Co-Founder & Treasurer
Stephen brings financial insight and organizational stewardship to Whisker Foundation. As Treasurer, he ensures transparency and accountability, helping every donation directly benefit the cats in our care. His steady leadership supports the foundation’s long-term sustainability.
Together, Debbie and Stephen built Whisker Foundation on compassion, community, and integrity.
Our Mission
At Whisker Foundation, we believe every cat deserves safety, love, and a home. We rescue abandoned and at-risk cats, provide medical care, nourishment, and foster placement until they find forever families.
Beyond rescue, our mission includes spay/neuter awareness, responsible pet ownership education, and community support programs. Through collaboration and kindness, we aim to reduce homelessness and improve feline welfare across our region.

Whisker Foundation is 100% volunteer-driven. Board positions are unpaid, and every hour of service directly supports the cats who rely on us. From bottle-feeding newborn kittens to organizing adoption events, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do.
